One of the most important challenges facing us today is that of global warming. If we do not take corrective action now, we will leave behind a world that will not be fit for our children, and their children. Development has improved our apparent life style, but has damaged the environement considerably.
A friend of mine, like many others is trying to combat the change and has started something entitled 'Global Sustaainability Challenge'. His Mission statements read as follows:
1. To seek out the best and most promising early stage companies and individual leaders and innovators, from anywhere in the world, who have the desire, attitude and ability to promote and enable global sustainability.
2. To invest and connect them to financial and human capital.
3. To educate, inspire and help them on their path.
4. To educate and motivate world individuals and organisations to proactively live and behave more responsibly towards the environment.
5. To promote commercial philanthropy to enable financial and human capital to get to where it is needed to benefit society.
How can we contribute? He needs funding, which I am also helping him find. Can you contribute?

Deals I am working on
I am working on the following deals right now. If you have interest in any of them, please do contact me:
1. A mixed-use real estate development in Southern California which is HUGE. It requires first round financing of US $ 5 billion. We are currently looking to get LOIs from prospective financiers, and are obtaining LOIs from prospective lessees. The fundamental negotiations are currently being held, and figures being firmed up to prepare a Business Plan, which is targeted to be available within 90 days.
2. A film project where the producer is a well known personality in Hollywood. The requirement is US $ 177 million.
3. A biotech company that is in the final testing stages of a drug that is going to combat inflammatory diseases lie arthritis and ms. The market for the drug is US $ 22 million.
4. Leasing of aircraft for an Asian/Middle Eastern airline. Current requirement is 41 of various classes for 2-5 years. Plus 2 small aircraft for a private company, with the option to buy.
5. A property development project in Bulgaria. Very close to the beach, with scenic beauty in the back.
6. Hotels in various countries.
7. Commodity trading with reliable sources. Only people with mandates may contact me. Chain of intermediaries may be accepted where the chain is strong.
